Combined Defence Services (CDS) 2 2020 is a National Level Exam conducted by Union Public Service Commission(UPSC) Government Of India for the recruitment of candidates into Indian Military Academy (IMA), Indian Air Force Academy (AFA), Indian Naval Academy (INA) and Officers Training Academy (OTA). The Exam is conducted twice a year which will usually held in the month of February and September.
Candidates whose aim is to Join the Defence Forces and to serve the nation can appear for the CDS Exam.
CDS 2 2020 Exam Application can be applied through online portal of UPSC from 5th August 2020 to 25th August 2020.

Indian Military Academy, Dehradun - 151 (DE) Course commencing in July, 2021
[including 13 vacancies reserved for NCC `C’
Certificate (Army Wing) holders] and the total vacancies for IMA will be 100.
Indian Naval Academy, Ezhimala - Course commencing in July, 2021 Executive
(General Service)/Hydro [including 06 vacancies
for NCC ‘C’ Certificate (Naval Wing through NCC
Special entry ) holders ] and the total vacancies for INA will be 26.
Air Force Academy, Hyderabad - (Pre-Flying) Training Course commencing in July, 2021
i.e. No. 210 F(P) Course.
[including 03 vacancies are reserved for NCC `C’
Certificate (Air Wing) holders through NCC Spl. Entry] and the total vacancies for AFA will be 32.
Officers’ Training Academy, Chennai (Madras) - 114th SSC (Men) (NT) (UPSC) Course
commencing in October, 2021 and the total vacancies for OTA(Men) will be 169.
Officers Training Academy, Chennai (Madras) 28th SSC Women (NT) (UPSC) Course
commencing in October, 2021 and the total vacancies for OTA(Women) will be 17.
Educational Qualification
For I.M.A. and Officer's Training Academy, Chennai - Degree of a recognised University or equivalent.
For Indian Naval Academy - Degree in Engineering from a recognised University/Institution.
For Air Force Academy - Degree of a recognised University (with Physics and
Mathematics at 10+2 level) or Bachelor of Engineering.
Age Limit & Marital Status
For IMA - Unmarriedmale candidates born not earlier than 2nd July, 1997 and
not later than 1st July, 2002 only are eligible.
For Indian Naval Academy - Unmarried male candidates born not earlier than
2nd July, 1997 and not later than 1st July, 2002 only are eligible.
For Air Force Academy - Unmarried male/female candidates born not earlier than 2nd July, 1997 and not
later than 1st July, 2001.
For Officers' Training Academy - (SSC Course for men) unmarried male
candidates born not earlier than 2nd July, 1996 and not later than 1st July, 2002 only
are eligible.
For Officers' Training Academy - (SSC Women Non-Technical Course)
Unmarried women, issue less widows who have not remarried and issue less divorcees (in possession of divorce documents) who have not remarried are eligible.
They should have been born not earlier than 2nd July, 1996 and not later than 1st July,
2002.

For Admission to Indian Military Academy, Indian Naval Academy and Air
Force Academy: - English(2 hours 100 marks), General Knowledge(2 hours 100 marks), Elementary Mathematics(2 hours 100 marks).
For Admission to Officers’ Training Academy : - English(2 hours 100 marks) and General Knowledge(2 hours 100 marks)
